Associations and institutions are welcome to apply to become members of the ALCC.
‘Going Digital: copyright and libraries online’ takes librarians through the copyright essentials, and applying the copyright essentials to digital collections. The internet has seen an explosion of new information platforms and new opportunities for libraries to connect with the community. Access to digital information, licensing of digital content and innovation with copyright content online have become priorities for libraries in Australia. This year ALCC’s copyright training will include discussion of copyright in new-media content, digitisation challenges and negotiating content licences.
