Training

One of the ALACC’s main goals is to inform and educate Australian libraries and archives about their copyright rights and responsibilities. To assist this, every year the ALACC runs a series of training courses across Australia, including face-to-face training and webinars. We also occasionally run other events, such as public talks with featured speakers.

Our training aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in their institutions. It takes a “can do” approach to copyright, focusing on how to the sector can use material flexibly and legally.

You can find details of upcoming and past training and events below.

Looking for the slides from a training session you attended? You can find them on our Resources page.
