Associations and institutions are welcome to apply to become members of the ALCC.
The ALCC is pleased to announce it will be running not one but two copyright training workshops for librarians and archivists in November.
One workshop is at the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane on 15 November and one at the National Library of Australia in Canberra on 28 November.
With two half day sessions and a final expert panel, each of these workshops aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in their institutions. Whether you’re a copyright beginner or looking for the latest updates, from document delivery to open access we cover it all and take questions from the floor. All sessions are free for ALIA, NSLA, CAUL, AGLIN, CAARA, ASLA and ASA members and their employees – but anyone with an interest in copyright for the cultural sector is welcome to come. The Canberran workshop’s expert panel will focus specifically on government copying – the challenges and opportunities for those working with copyright for government institutions.
More information and bookings are available on the workshops’ Eventbrite event pages: Brisbane and Canberra.
