This is a generic set of slides based on our Copyright Essentials training.
Copyright Essentials covers the basics of copyright law including what is protected, how long it is protected for, and what exceptions exist for libraries, archives and other users. It takes a “can do” approach to copyright law, emphasising how you can legally make use of creative material without harming creators.
For more advanced topics or the latest updates, try our Copyright Extended Training.
The slides may differ slightly from those presented at specific training sessions, as we update them from time-to-time.
