Joint submission to the Inquiry into the Fair Go for Fair Use Bill 2013

Together the ADA and ALCC provide comment to the Senate Standing Committees on Environment and Communications inquiry into the Copyright Legislation Amendment “Fair Go for Fair Use” Bill 2013

In this submission by the Australian Digital Alliance (ADA) and the Australian Libraries Copyright Committee (ALCC) to the Senate Standing Committees on Environment and Communications inquiry into the Copyright Legislation Amendment “Fair Go for Fair Use” Bill 2013 we argue introducing a ‘fair use’ exception, such as that proposed in the Bill, important to ensure Australia has an adaptable, technologically neutral copyright system suitable for the digital economy.
