ALACC Library and Archive Copyright Training is happening in December in Brisbane at The Edge at the State Library of Queensland.
This training will take place in the Edge Auditorium at The Edge at the State Library of Queensland and the Copyright Essentials session will be live streamed. Onsite capacity is limited.
The ALACC’s Library and Archive Copyright Training aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in modern cultural collections and institutions. From an understanding of how copyright works, to copyright licensing, copyright exceptions and other copyright topics, we cover it all and take questions from the floor.
The day includes two sessions – Copyright Essentials and Copyright Extended. Participants can register for the morning or afternoon sessions, or both sessions. Only Copyright Essentials will be live streamed. Only Copyright Essentials will be live streamed. Copyright Essentials looks more in-depth at key copyright issues in small groups using Copyright the Card Game – Australian Edition. This session assumes either a base knowledge of copyright or attendance at the morning session.
